This is a 6yr 8mo old MGP wheated bourbon, finished in a toasted French Oak barrel for 15 MONTHS! The toasted French Oak barrels brings out so many soft undertones on this pour that’s going to sit on your palate for the rest of the night…or day!
Nose:
Soft honey aroma, followed by deep sweetness (like molasses) mixed with chocolate, and a bit of oak on the end.
Palate:
Chocolate hazlenut bomb, but covered in cinnamon, with a warm spice at the end.
Finish:
Warm spice on the palate carries into the finish giving you that traditional Kentucky Hug, but rounded off with incredible sweetness and vanilla. Vanilla stays on your bottom lip foreverrrrr.
